1 month and counting until Kaison's 3rd birthday!

Well the race is officially on to complete things for our youngest son Kaison's 3rd birthday.  This year I chose a Vintage Circus theme.  Luckily I don't have to go super crazy overboard with his parties yet like I do his older brothers...we have no friends to invite!  Poor kid!  By the time he's in school that will all change.  So for now it's just family (which isn't very large) and a few family friends.  So I have one month to get decorations made and figure out some fun stuff.  And we keep asking him what he wants for his birthday, and his answer is a "wheel".  So we'll see what we can do about that, and I'm hoping he'll like the other stuff we choose for him.  So anyways here is some of my inspiration and what I've got so far.

This is his invite.  Luckily it was free from Vista Print, just pay shipping.  I usually make the invites, but I figured since it's just family I would order them this time.

Here are some inspiration for decorations, but you'll just have to see the finished pictures after the party.

I'm sure there will be garland of some sort as well.  Maybe some circus lights!  Lot's of fun circus foods, of course popcorn.  I found some awesome paper popcorn holders from the 99 cent store.  I'm thinking flavored popcorn to make it special.  Cupcakes are a must in this family so they will definitely be at the party.  Maybe something like these popcorn inspired cupcakes.

And I wish I had of snagged these vintage looking paper circus animal masks from Michaels $1 section when I had seen them earlier this year.  I could kick myself now.  I'm still on the hunt for something similar though.

So stay tuned for updates on how things are coming along all the way up until party day!
