I decided to make some bookmarks since I have no good ones that the kids don't knock out of my book constantly. Which results in me trying to find what page I was on again! So this is a really cheap and cute option. You probably have something lying around the house to embellish your bookmark with. You first will need jumbo paper clips (colored ones would be fun, I didn't have any...Boo!). Then either buttons, ribbon, or rhinestones. Hot glue them on, you can add felt to the back of the embellishment if you want. That's it, now get reading!

Now,if you were to make them with the colored, vinyl covered paperclips, they'd look even more colorful. Good idea - creative and simple.
That's what I was looking for at the $$$dollar store the other day, but they didn't have any. I tried spray painting them and it just wasn't working! Next time I see some colorful ones I will pick them up.
