My friend Kim has been re-designing her son Aj's room the past few weeks. Aj is really into the Toy Story theme and so Kim decided to create him a room inspired by Andy's room in the movie. (Final pictures of the completed room coming soon!) The other day she posted her finished project of an Etch-A-Sketch Chalkboard for the room. It turned out wonderful. She did a great job on it, I'm so proud of her!
About a month ago I found this inspiration photo for her to use to re-create something similar.
Well she took the idea and took it a step further. At first I was thinking just an adorable picture frame would be awesome on his walls. Kim came up with the chalkboard idea instead, which is a great use for it. Aj is 2 years old, so it's perfect for him. Here's her finished product:
Cute huh?! If you'd like to see how Kim made this with step by step instructions, head over to her blog HERE and check it out. When she's completely done with Aj's room she'll be sending me photos so I can post about it. And we'll see this chalkboard hanging in full glory! I can't wait. Good job Kim!
