10 - Great Room Makeovers

Since I'm in the midst of redoing our son Corbyn's bedroom, which has taken a slight curve ball since I've decided the boys should share a room so Momma can have a craft room/office.  So now I'm planning the room for 2, and having to adjust my original plans for decor since bunk beds will most definitely have to play a part in this room.  And I plan on redoing our Master bedroom at some point as well this year (ha! if my procrastination doesn't set in!)  I thought we could see some really great room re-do's.

Love the use of the curtains to create such a dramatic backdrop for the bed.  And I love the colors in this room too, I'm a sucker for anything mixed with black & white!

This bold color choice on the walls could be considered a huge risk to take, but it definitely paid off in this bedroom redo.  After doing my Christmas decor this year in turquoise & red, I'm in love with the color combo.  And the clean crisp white really helps to balance it out.

So soft and pretty.  Love the doors as a headboard!

If your looking for something sweet and definitely girly, this redo is it!

Great idea taking that headboard all the way up!

This room redo wouldn't be my first choice in color schemes, but there's something about it that I really like.  Maybe it's the fact that underneath those side tables are galvanized trash cans!  Love it.

Ugh!!!  This nursery makes me drool!  I love everything about it!  The color choices, the chevron inspired wall, EVERYTHING!  Well done...Well done!

And this may just be my favorite room redo of the month!  From the seriously BOLD wall choice, which is amazing.  To the color choices, love the yellows and grays right now.  To the thrifted furniture, which I'm totally lusting after...wish my goodwill had better options!  And don't forget the amazing empty frame wall art she created.  Go check this one out for sure!

And last but not least...one of my friends Kim gave her oldest son Aj's room a little makeover.  So I thought it only fair I share this one too with all of you.  She did a great job, and it turned out great.  Her son Aj loves Toy Story so she rolled with the theme.  Be sure to check out the great Etch A' Sketch chalkboard DIY that she did in the room.
And from what I hear Aj loves his new room!
