I thought I would take a second and just do a quick re-cap of our fun night out at the Hunger Game's movie premier. I didn't bring a real camera with me for some reason, so excuse the quality of the pictures they were taken with my phone. I wanted to show off all the shirts that we all made at our Hunger Games T-shirt party a couple weeks ago. Everyone did such a wonderful job on them!
First this is the necklace I threw together the day before the movie since I knew some of the other girls would be sporting their necklaces. I have ordered pieces to make necklaces but I haven't gotten all the pieces yet...so I used what I had on hand.Okay this is the fun friend I've told you about Rhi (with the Hunger Games tattoo). Can't see it in this picture, but you can see her Hot Dog tattoo! She made this sweatshirt she's wearing.
Here is the awesome pin she made out of clay!
And here are her Tom's she decorated!
And this would be the picture she captured on my phone of her & Brandie...
Next up is Morgan (Rhi's Sister). Check out her cool shirt.
This is the back of Morgan's sweatshirt. Super cute.
This is Alanda and she got super creative and put an apple with an arrow through it on her shirt. Just like Katniss did for the judges.
This is Brandie and her awesome shirt.
Check out the back of Brandie's shirt. I love that she could wear this shirt all the time, it turned out great.
This is Rebecca. She's super fun!
Here's the back of Rebecca's shirt. I love that her font looked just like the book.
Here is Lynn in her shirt. I love the heart around the mockingjay instead of a circle. And she looked super good in this green color too!
Lastly it has come to me.
And my swollen feet (blah!) in my shoes. And no I'm not really pigeon toed, but for some reason I thought I should try to turn my feet in for the pic.
We had such a fun night laughing, playing Draw Something while waiting for the movie to start. The theater we always go to is like a hidden gem, no one goes there and so we don't have to wait in line. They let us in 3 hours early this time for seats. We knew people who were waiting in crazy lines at other theaters, and we were like "Boo-Ya!" because we were all cozy and comfy waiting for the movie. I'm so glad to have a wonderful group of friends that I can do fun stuff with. I am totally looking forward to the next movie night.
P.S. I'm so flattered that my shirt & shoes were such a huge hit on many other blogs and from hearing sweet comments from readers. So thank you! That means the world to me.
