Keurig Vue House Party

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of hosting a Keurig Vue V700 Brewer House Party.  In return for hosting this amazing party I was sent a brand new Keurig Vue V700 brewer.  I also received a goody boxed filled with 6 boxes of Keurig coffee & tea Vue Packs for my guest to sample, baked goods, and apron, specially designed after coffee mints for each guest to take home, and enough 50% off coupons for each guest to go home and purchase their very own V700 Brewer.  The retail value of the Keurig Vue V700 is around $250, so this was a great deal for my guests.

When I was picked for this House Party I jumped for joy!  I have never owned a Keurig before and was so incredibly excited that I would now be part of the Keurig brewing community.  Honestly who knows how long it would have taken me to actually buy one of my own since I couldn't justify spending my whole "monthly allowance" on a coffee pot.  {We budget around these parts}  And not only was I getting a Keurig, I was getting their newest one.  This machine does hot drinks {with options for changing your cup size, and temperature}, it does iced drinks, and even has the option for frothing your milk when you purchase speciality cappuccino and latte Vue Packs, and has a touch screen to make your selections.  The only down side to this machine...it does not use K-Cups, instead it uses their new Vue Packs.  Vue Packs are wider and shorter packs, they have a removable filter that separates from the plastic cup for recycling purposes.  The Vue Packs don't currently come in as many awesome flavors and varieties as the K-Cups do, and the price point is about $12 for a pack of 16 Packs.  They also do not currently have a reusable filter for this machine yet, which I hope they get on the market very quickly!!!  But honestly I love this machine so far and have enjoyed ever cup of coffee it brewed.  My guests loved it too.

I was lucky to have 11 guests come to my party {forgot to take a group shot} we all sat around chatting about the brewer and all it's options, tasting the products, and sampling the sweets.  I added my owl special touches in simple ways by utilizing coffee filters for the decor, making coffee filter pom poms to hang, and coffee filter garland.  I gave the guests a variety of creamers to choose from, and we sampled various sweet treats.  It was a fun night!

Some of you may not know about this and might be asking yourselves..."What's a House Party?!"  House Party is a company you can register with and apply for various House Parties, all the parties are sponsored by different vendors with a variety of different products.  The purpose of the House Party is to expose these products to consumers in a fun way.  When you register with House Party on their website you are able to apply for as many different House Parties as you would like, you agree that in return for them choosing you for that particular party that you will use social media, word of mouth, photography, and special touches like decorations...etc...to make the party a success.   I highly encourage you to register for House Party, and give it a try!
