October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you haven't noticed the small blog button I created on my side bar I urge you to take a second and add one to your blog page during the remainder of October to show support and call attention to the cause. This disease has affected several women in my life. A little over a year ago my 93 year old Grandma was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, another family was also diagnosed around that exact same time. My maternal Grandmother passed away in the early 60's at the age of 43 from Breast Cancer.
I urge you if you do not already perform a monthly self breast exam to do so! It takes 5 minutes and could save your life. If you don't know how to perform a self breast exam you should consult your doctor for proper technique and what to look for.
Since it is the month of all things "PINK" I thought I would share some great products that help support the cause. The products range from Etsy shops to Mass Retailers, but they are all fabulous and PINK! So get your shop on and help support the cause! All the vendors are donating a portion of the proceeds to various Breast Cancer related causes.

I love all the pink this time of year too and happy to be part of the awareness.
