03/17/2012 5 Comments

St. Patrick's Day BreakfastI thought it would be fun to surprise my boys with a festive St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast, so I whipped up these quick green pancakes and milk.   What kid doesn’t love waking up to a fun breakfast?!

What you need to create this easy breakfast:

Pancake mix
food coloring
Fun toppings, optional – lucky charms, sprinkles, whipped cream

The milk?  Just more green food coloring.  This lucky breakfast will definitely make their day.

Don’t want to make green pancakes?  How about some bright rainbow pancakes instead! Just add food coloring to your pancake batter in separate bowls.  Gel food coloring works best for bright bold colors.
