Fortune Cookie Valentine’s

01/19/2013 16 Comments

Fortune Cookie Valentine'sA couple of years ago when my oldest was in 1st Grade I made these Fortune Cookie Valentine’s for his classmates.  I thought it would be fun to make them again and share them with you.  They are easy to make, and everyone loves them.

Supplies:

– Fortune Cookies, you can find them in your grocery stores in the international isle or a local Asian market
– Bakers Chocolate or Candy Bark, vanilla or chocolate flavored
– Sprinkles
– Wax Paper
– Cellophane Treat Bags

Simply prepare the bakers chocolate or candy bark per the packages instructions in a small bowl.  Then dip your fortune cookies so that only half the cookie is coated.  Place it on a sheet of wax paper, but be sure to add your desired sprinkles to the cookie before the chocolate hardens.  Once they are completely set, just place 2 or 3 cookies in each bag and either add a tag or print the free printable topper found below to the bag.  That’s it, super easy.

To save this free printable topper tag all you need to do is right click with on the image, select “save as”.  Open in a program like Word, Publisher, or Photoshop to create the tags.  For best quality printing use matte photo paper.
