St. Patrick’s Day Mantel

St-Patrick's-Day-Mantel
I am not typically someone who does a lot of decorating for St. Patrick’s Day, this year I had some fun decor I made on hand from a recent tv news segment I did.  I thought it would look great on my mantel as we head in to spring.  I love that this St. Patrick’s Day Mantel has an updated look, by just adding touches of mint, yellow, & gold it gave this a fresh and clean look.

One of my favorite parts of this mantel design is the gold polka dot burlap banner mixed with the fun and whimsical pom pom garland I made.  The gold polka dot burlap can be found at Joanns, and comes in a few great colors.  I just cut a simple banner shape and hot glued each piece to some jute twine.

This adorable Lucky Print is from the very talented girls at Eighteen25.  They have it for you to download for free, and it comes in several colors.  I printed the mint.  I paired it with some vintage books, and a vase I filled with more pom poms.  The vase is a plain glass vase that I added some gold glitter tape from American Crafts.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut some mini banner pieces out of gold glittered cardstock, I then strung them on some green bakers twine.  I also added a row of green washi tape garland to the vintage wood frame with my gold banner garlands.

The Lucky in Love Sign is my most recent post on SNAP, head over and see how easy it is to make.

I love how this mantel looks, so fun and cheerful.  Stay tuned later this month and see how I transform this same mantel for spring.
