Christmas Entry Way

12/05/2012 9 Comments

Today I’m sharing my Christmas Entry Way.  Most everything I used I either already had on hand or picked up at the Dollar Tree or the 99 Cent Only store.  I love how it turned out, very simple to me and clean looking.  I found these two Nutcrackers at my local Fry’s Marketplace grocery store last year after Christmas on clearance for $4, couldn’t pass them up.  I had all intentions of spray painting them white for this year, but then decided to leave them since it went nice with my tree this year.

I just pulled some books I had on my desk that went with the whole color scheme, then I used my DIY Cloche and filled it with Jingle Bells I found at the 99 Cent Only store.  The keys I’ve had, and the snowflake picks are several years old.

This little guy is one of my favorite possessions.  I’ve had him since I stole took him from my Mom’s house when I moved out.  He’s probably as old as I am if not older.  I just think he’s cute and I put him here with the Nutcrackers cause it reminds me of the Nutcracker ballet my Mom use to take us to as kids.

I filled my tin tray with some big ball ornaments from the 99 Cent Only store that I found, and also some smaller gold ones.  I then placed some yarn wrapped styrofoam balls that I made a few weeks back to break up all the shiny glittery goodness.  I filled my to big vases with berry picks and glittery snowflakes.

The last few things I did was to print out some signs for my frames.  I just printed out 4 different ways to say Merry Christmas – French, Spanish, Hawaiian, and English.  I then took some gold washi tape and just wrapped the edge of my round iron decorative wall hanging to make it stand out a tiny bit.

So what do you think of it?  I love it.
