Studded Pumpkins

I love Fall, the season where leaves change to rich warm colors that leave you feeling almost giddy when you see them.  I know for me when Halloween is over I still want to have my pumpkins around, which is why I love having pumpkins that are a neutral color to add to my mantle.  How about making some of these Studded Pumpkins to add to your Fall decor.

Supplies:

–  Americana Multi-Surface Paint {white birch}
–  Pumpkins from Dollar Tree
–  Brass Studs from Hobby Lobby
–  Foam Brush
–  Jute Twine
–  Glue Gun

I ran across the brass pyramid studs at Hobby Lobby, I actually bought them for a purse I was going to spice up a little.  I think they worked better for this project.  You can find them in the isle with t-shirt painting supplies.

1.  Start by painting your pumpkins with your American Multi-Surface white birch paint.  You will need a couple coats of paint, be sure to let each coat of paint to dry completely.

2.  Once dry decided where you want to place your studs, this part is so easy.  Just press in your studs like a thumbtack.  They go in so easily, and if you ever want to remove them for another project they come out pretty easily too.

3.  When your finished with your studded pattern you can wrap jute twine around the stems, and in any other place you’d like by using your glue gun.

Now you have these fun Studded Pumpkins, that are neutral enough to add to your Fall decor and bonus they help bring in a touch of gold so you are right on trend.
