Black & White Entryway RefreshOne of the many challenges living in a small home is space, plain and simple there is none! Especially storage space, so when it comes to organizing I have to be kind of tricky. One of the hardest spots is my home office / craft room. The room is technically a formal living room and shares the entryway to our home, I have to make every inch count for storage all while keeping it pretty and inviting. With so many craft supplies, props, and overall stuff that I use on the daily I need a place to put it all. Previously I had a super cute entry table but storage wise it just wasn’t cutting it. Today I’m excited to show you my Entryway Refresh that not only looks pretty, it serves a ton of function to such a small space.

The first thing I knew I needed was something that could be both my entry table and cute storage, but it needed to be similar in size to my previous table. When I saw the Better Homes and Gardens 8-Cube Organizer at Walmart I knew it would be a great choice, especially the new Weathered Wood finish that they offer. It goes perfectly with my Black & White Gallery Wall.

Black & White Entryway RefreshAfter picking up the cube organizer and some baskets from my local Walmart store my oldest son and I sat down and put this shelf together super quick. I love how easy it was to assemble! Let’s talk about the finish too for a second, it’s amazing! The weathered wood finish is textured to resemble real wood, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Black & White Entryway RefreshI ended up snagging these super cute Better Homes and Gardens Wire Baskets while I was shopping for the cube organizer. They are perfect for storing some of my props, I grabbed the medium size baskets and they fit perfectly into the shelf. I’ll be heading back to buy more of these to use throughout my house, they are a great way to organize in a stylish way. Better Homes and Gardens and Walmart have a ton of storage bin options from canvas, burlap, faux leather, to metal.

Black & White Entryway RefreshI added simple white Photo Storage Boxes to hide more small item craft supplies. I used a gold paint pen to paint the label frame gold, so easy to do and it was a great touch to add.

Black & White Entryway RefreshI also had to add this small Better Homes and Gardens Gold Metallic Oblong Pillow when I saw it while shopping, it’s the perfect lumbar pillow for this chair. I love the metallic gold stitching, it went great with the other small pops of gold I used in my entryway decor.

Black & White Entryway RefreshI couldn’t pass up a new scented candle for my entryway, I love to light them when I’m working or have guests coming over. One of my favorite places to shop for candles and wax melts for warmers is Walmart, Better Homes and Gardens has the best scents!

I love how much storage this refresh added, it has really helped to cut down on the clutter in my office which is attached. I also love that I didn’t have to compromise on style to get the job done either.

I love that entry piece! It looks great and the storage aspect is a total bonus. And those wire baskets have me super excited, too. I need to be checking out the Better Homes and Gardens line at Walmart. Who knew it was so cute?!? You make everything look so good!!

Hello! I’m so happy I found inspiration from your entry way design – it’s stunning and the pieces do not look like they came from Walmart! I’m off to peruse their website now. Where did you get the number 4 wall art?

Thanks Gina, the 4 wall art sign was one that we made with an event I hosted. It was a craft that could be purchased. If you’re interested, LollyJane.com has a shop that sells them and will customize them. 🙂

Hi Christy, thank you. The key is actually from Target a few years ago. 🙂
