With the holidays comes holiday entertaining, having easy and tasty treats is a must when it comes to holiday entertaining. I always love a semi-homemade quick treat idea that I can put together easily during this very busy time of the year. This Chocolate & Peanut Butter Drizzled Popcorn Mix is the perfect recipe whether you’re hosting a holiday party, making a treat for a neighbor, or having a family Christmas movie marathon.
Like I mentioned, this time of the year can be super busy so besides having an easy to make treat I love being able to shop and not have to deal with the crowds. That’s why I love the Safeway Home Delivery service. I order my groceries and they not only get everything together for me, they actually delivery to my house. It’s seriously one of my favorite ways to shop now.
When I placed my most recent Safeway Home Delivery order, I loved that there was such a large variety of great-tasting organic foods at amazing prices. I decided to give the O Organics® products a try with my Chocolate & Peanut Butter Drizzled Popcorn Mix and I was so impressed. Not only were the ingredients great tasting, I found a new no-stir creamy peanut butter that is low in sugar that will be perfect on my morning toast. toast. O Organics products are available in my area exclusively at Albertsons and Safeway stores, and you can also find them at all of the Albertsons Companies family of stores, including ACME, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Star Market, United Express, United and Carrs/Safeway.
It couldn’t be easier to make this popcorn mix! Start by pouring a bag of the O Organics Kettle Corn on to a parchment lined sheet pan and spreading it out. Next, add in some O Organics Organic Pretzel Mini Twists, add as many as you’d like…there’s no wrong measurement here.
Sprinkle in some O Organics Roasted Unsalted Cashews, and The Snack Artist Butter Toffee Peanuts. These peanuts alone are like candy, so good. Again, just add whatever amount makes you happy. Give everything a quick toss with your hands and spread back evenly over the entire sheet pan.
In a glass microwave-safe bowl pour a bag of Signature Kitchens White Chocolate Chips, add in three heaping tablespoons of O Organics No Stir Creamy Peanut Butter. Microwave the peanut butter and white chocolate chip mixture at intervals of 30 seconds until it’s creamy and smooth. Each 30-second interval be sure to stir the chocolate. When ready, use a spoon to drizzle the peanut butter and white chocolate over the kettle corn mix. Be as generous as you’d like, but try to distribute it evenly so it hardens properly when done.
Repeat the same process as above for the O Organics 51% Cocoa Semisweet Chocolate Chips. Heat in 30-second intervals in a glass microwavable-safe bowl until smooth and creamy. Then drizzle over your kettle corn mix the same way you did the peanut butter and white chocolate.
Once you’re done drizzling everything you will need to let the chocolates harden. You can speed up this process by placing your sheet pans in the fridge until hardened. If you live in Arizona like I do this fridge trick is a must since it’s still so hot here. As soon as the Chocolate & Peanut Butter Drizzled Popcorn Mix is set you can eat it, package it up, or put it in a bowl for your party.
Want to add some color to your mix? Feel free to add some colored sprinkles or extra chocolate candy.
