Washi Tape Milk Bottles

02/04/2013 3 Comments

Happy Monday Morning!

Today I’m sharing this quick project with you…Washi Tape Milk Bottles.

I thought it was a cute idea for the kids to come home on Valentine’s Day to an after school treat of milk & cookies.  Not just any milk & cookies though, it has to be super special right?!  So I grabbed a couple clear glass soda bottles I had left over, removed the labels and added some washi tape in Valentine’s Day colors.  I then filled the bottles with strawberry milk {you can use plain milk with a drop of red food coloring}.  I made the sweet little Valentine’s themed sugar cookies using some mini cookie cutters I found at Ross for a couple bucks.  I love the X & O’s.  My boys just love it when they get to have a treat like this, and there is something extra special about letting them drink out of the glass bottle that they especially love…it’s a real treat for them.  Hope you like this quick and simple idea, it’s a perfect way to recycle those awesome glass bottles for parties or just a fun treat for the kiddo’s.

So very cute! I’m planning a bridal shower and I think I’m going to use washi tape on mason jars! =)
