Neon Faux Enamel Earrings

02/17/2014 6 Comments

I know so many of you are excited for spring to arrive, what better way to welcome spring than with these Neon Faux Enamel Earrings.  There the perfect pop of bright color to add to any outfit. Plus they are super easy to make using the Tulip Slick Fabric Paints from I Love to Create.

A few weeks ago I received all these fun Tulip goodies in my mailbox:  Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint Mini 3 Pack, Tulip One-Step Mini Tie-Dye Kits, and the Tulip Fabric Markers.  I love all the bright and fun colors.  I decided to use the Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint, I knew exactly what I was going to make as soon as I saw them. So I grabbed some supplies from my stash.

Supplies:

Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint Mini 3 Packs {Neon}
Earring posts

Start by poking your earring posts in to a piece of cardboard or styrofoam to hold them in place while they dry.

Are you ready?  It’s so easy…

Just apply your dimensional fabric paint to the flat surface of the earring post.  Smooth it around until it covers the whole surface and is smooth.  That’s it!  Let them dry for at least 24 hours.

Seriously the easiest project ever.  Don’t you love how these look?  They look like faux enamel.  I’m obsessed with stud earrings lately, it’s all I wear.  So these are the perfect addition to my jewelry box for spring.  Those green ones may be my very fave though!

You can pick up these exclusive products at your local Michaels Arts & Crafts store.  If you are someone that doesn’t have a Michaels store in your area, you can order these products at iLoveToCreate.com.  iLoveToCreate.com is currently offering free shipping on any Neon Tulip product for the month of February when you use the coupon code #NeonFEB (code ends 02/28/14).

    What a great use for the paint!! I would have never thought of it. Now I have a great idea for my nieces. They’ll love the bright earrings.
